About Blome

Their garden bench range is constructed from European sourced aluminium components, with the high-quality injection moulded plastic parts all being manufactured in their own factory. All products contain recycled plastic content and some models are made from 100% recycled plastic.

In 2024 the brand is being launched in the UK through Blaise International

The entire range is designed with product longevity in mind: 10-to-12 year outdoor life is common, with the minimum of maintenance required. Contrasted with wooden garden benches, that do require treatment on a yearly basis to avoid discoloration at best. And at worst, collapse, due to rotting; something that the wet British climate specialises in!

Metal garden benches also require regular repainting. Surface rust can be unsightly and time consuming to fix. Structural rust at the joints between parts can mean collapse too – that almost certainly means a new bench purchase is required. They are not too comfortable either, given a lengthy sit – unlike the more giving nature of body-moulding plastic.

Blome garden benches are exported all over the world. Not only are they extremely weather resistant and stable, but they also look great and are available in many colours and shapes. The large, fully recyclable parts are all pre-assembled and bench construction is very simple indeed.

There are some unique diversely coloured designs available, even in the entry level Ibiza 2-seater range. They are fun and ideal for consumers who wish to make a statement and don’t take themselves too seriously. For something that looks a bit more incognito, the wood-look colour schemes are very convincing indeed.

More timeless designs also feature in the range, that look like a traditional painted metal garden bench. You could argue they are works of art!

Easy to clean and care for, due to the high-quality plastic used, just wash them down with some warm soapy water and finish with a silicone spray if you wish. Colour fade over time is minimal too, even if placed in bright sunshine, due to high UV resistance of the materials.

Stable, resilient and comfortable, this manufacturer does not cut corners in design or material quality. Some smaller designs also come packed with a ground fixing kit.

The simple truth is that many garden benches sold in the UK are sourced from the Far East. Blome benches have a relatively short trip to here from Germany, making their transportation carbon footprint much, much smaller.

Modern design, sophisticated technology and convincing product quality have made BLOME a sought-after supplier of plastic garden furniture worldwide.

Garden bench design has remained similar for many years. If you want to find out more about a new- to-the-UK manufacturer with fun, innovative and durable products, then contact UK sales manager Mark Hewitt on 07738 578 151
